UP TO NO GOOD! - A Unique Intergenerational Exhibition 10 March 2009 - 21 March 2009

PAST EXHIBITION:  UP TO NO GOOD!  - A UNIQUE INTERGENERATIONAL EXHIBITION

10 March – 21 March 2009

The exhibition will showcase all of the work created over the last three years as part of Groundwork's Up To No Good Intergenerational programme.

The Up To No Good! programme of work was primarily funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and the Rank Foundation and consisted of six heritage based intergenerational projects-two in each of the London Boroughs of Islington, Camden and Westminster. The six projects were:

– Talkin' 'Bout My Generation
– SHAK Project
– Mildmay Project
– Almorah Stories
– Amberley Project
– Passport 2 Pimlico

Each project combined a different heritage and art theme which was explored by young and older people living on social housing estates. These projects not only increased awareness and appreciation of local heritage, but also broke down barriers and misconceptions between the two generations.
